MILNES VOICE STUDIO

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA | AUGUST 4 – 19, 2018

Focus on your career this summer

Prepare a role. This year, the Milnes VOICE Studio presents two role opportunities for singers: Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel and Michael Ching’s Speed Dating Tonight! Opera participants rehearse and coach with top international faculty. Final performances of each opera take place in Savannah’s beautiful and historic Charles H. Morris Center downtown.

Try something new. Study new repertoire and learn new stage skills with our programs. During these two weeks, singers participate in career development workshops, with topics ranging from vocal health to personal branding. Students involved in Speed Dating Tonight! will work directly with Michael Ching, the composer of this recent contemporary piece.

Craft your audition package. Get feedback from our faculty as you prepare for audition season. Participants in this track of study will come away with new recordings, career advice, and defined goals. This track culminates in an Opera Idol performance, where singers receive live feedback from opera industry professionals.

Included in this summer program:
