The Savannah VOICE Festival is slated to host “ALMO & Julio Resende – Portuguese Music Reimagined” on March 23.
This concert, which has been touring the U.S. is presented by tenor Paulo Lapa and baritone Tiago Matos with pianist and composer Júlio Resende. They will also be joined by special guests. Together they will perform traditional Portuguese songs and Fado music, a form of Portuguese singing that is often associated with pubs, cafés, and restaurants.
