The Milnes VOICE Programs (Savannah VOICE Festival and VOICExperience) has recognized the need to address the issues of diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination in the classical music world and in education.
In an increased effort to strive to be a better member of the arts community, and the world at-large, the Savannah VOICE Festival has formed a new diversity initiative that is overseen and led by the newly formed VOICE Diversity Committee. The goal of this committee is to evaluate the current practices of SVF staff, faculty, and artists and encourage positive change to create a welcoming environment for all.
As the Savannah VOICE Festival fosters its new Strategic Plan in 2021, a firm focus will be made on our role in diversity, racial sensitivity, and inclusion.
